Appointment Cancellation
At Shiv Diagnostics Center, we understand that plans can change. We have established the following cancellation policy to ensure fair service for all our patients:
- Free Cancellation: Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the test cost.
- No-Show: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a 50% charge of the test cost.
- Emergency Cancellations: Medical emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis with full understanding.
Refund Policy
We are committed to providing quality diagnostic services and customer satisfaction. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Duplicate Payment: Full refund will be processed within 7-10 business days if duplicate payment is made.
- Test Not Conducted: If a test cannot be performed due to technical issues from our end, a full refund will be issued immediately.
- Pre-Paid Services: Refunds for pre-paid test packages will be calculated based on tests already completed minus any applicable cancellation fees.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 10-15 business days.

By scheduling an appointment or availing our diagnostic services, you enter into a service agreement with Shiv Diagnostics Center. Our services include but are not limited to blood tests, imaging services, pathology tests, and other diagnostic procedures.

- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

4. Payment Terms
Payment for services must be made at the time of service delivery unless prior credit arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
5. Report Delivery
Test reports will be delivered within the specified timeframe based on test type. Reports can be collected in person, downloaded from our online portal, or sent via email as per your preference. Physical reports require valid identification for collection.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for accuracy, Shiv Diagnostics Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
7. Intellectual Property
All reports, images, and documentation generated by Shiv Diagnostics Center remain our intellectual property. However, patients have the right to access and use their medical reports for personal healthcare purposes.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
Sample Collection & Report Delivery Policy
Home Sample Collection
Shiv Diagnostics Center offers convenient home sample collection services for your comfort and safety:
- Service Areas: We provide home collection services within a 15 km radius of our center
- Booking: Home collection must be booked at least 12 hours in advance
- Timing: Collections are available between 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Charges: A nominal home collection fee may apply based on distance and test type
- Safety: Our trained phlebotomists follow strict hygiene and safety protocols
Report Delivery Methods
1. Digital Delivery (Recommended)
- Email: Reports sent to registered email within specified TAT (Turnaround Time)
- Online Portal: Access reports 24/7 through our secure patient portal
- WhatsApp: Reports can be shared via WhatsApp upon request
- Mobile App: Download our app for instant report notifications
2. Physical Report Collection
- Reports available for pickup at our center during business hours
- Valid ID proof required for collection
- Authorized person can collect with written permission and ID copy
- Reports retained for 30 days before archiving
3. Home Delivery of Reports
- Available on request for premium packages
- Delivery within 24-48 hours of report generation
- Additional charges may apply
- Signature required upon delivery
Report Turnaround Time
- Routine Tests: 6-24 hours
- Special Tests: 24-48 hours
- Culture Tests: 3-7 days
- Biopsy Reports: 5-7 days
- Genetic Tests: 10-15 days
Lost or Damaged Reports
In case of lost reports, duplicate copies can be requested. A nominal fee may be charged for reprinting. Digital copies are always available free of cost through our online portal.
